Southland
is a fast-paced drama that somehow stands out in the world of dramatic television. And although NBC decided
to cancel the cop-based drama prematurely, it seems that TNT was there to pick up the pieces and air the first season in its
entirety. It’s still unknown if the network will be releasing new episodes (after airing the 6 previously
unreleased episodes from season two), at least the fans can relive their experiences now that season one is on DVD.
Southland caught the attention of many viewers because of its believable characters and
believable circumstances, not too many dramatic programs can say that about their show. Southland gave viewers a look
into the streets of LA, giving us a look inside the lives of cops, criminals, victims and their families.
A show that deserves another chance may gain more exposure with this incredible uncensored
DVD.
