You've done a lot in your career, what would you say is the highlight of your career so far?
Possibly, Jeckyl & Hyde... the musical on Broadway back in 2000. Another high is the 'Angel Down' CD featuring
the return of Axl Rose ... on three songs. We are re-releasing the CD this summer with a DVD with five live songs, so
we'll be on tour all summer long with Poison across America. So hopefully 2008 will be another high.
Tell me a little bit about that tour, what are you looking forward to?
Definitely getting the new music out to the people across America, so far we've sold about 100,000 copies without any
touring... and we just spent a month in Australia and Europe ... and been waiting since December to play the USA ... I just
want to thank Poison, and Brett Michaels especially, for putting us on the bill because it's the perfect chance to get the
new music out to hundreds-of-thousands of people across America.
Do you plan on doing any more Broadway shows in the future?
Absolutely, definitely. Something came up the other day that looks like a strong possibility ... I can't tell you
what it is, but I will 100% in the future do some more theater.
Tell me about the other guys in your band...
I got Bobby Jarzombek on the drums, Metal Mike on guitar from Halford, Johnny Chromatic on the other guitar, and Rob
De Luca on the bass live ... and also Steve DiGiorgio on the bass in the record... and I wrote a song on the record "Falling
Into You" with Desmond Child, and I co-wrote some songs with Roy Z the producer.
Tell me a little about your latest release, 'Angel Down'.
It was released in November 2007, and coming out again at all FYE stores this summer with a DVD, it's special limited
edition and going to be an FYE exclusive. We're about to shoot a video for the song "By Your Side" with Wayne Isham
who shot 'Enter Sandman' and some of the greatest videos ever. It will be really cool to shoot a video again, it's been
a long time since we've shot a video.
You'd probably say it's your best CD yet, everyone always does, what do you honestly think?
I can't really compare, I know it's not the worst CD I've ever put out... (laughs)
How do you take care of your voice between shows?
I do my vocal warm-ups before every time I sing, which I attribute my whole career to really because it really strengthens
my voice and lets me sing every night of the week, which is different from doing one once a week or once a month, it's
completely different when you do it every night. I don't drink any hard alcohol, I don't do any drugs, I don't smoke
cigarettes, try to get a lot of sleep... which I usually don't, but I try (laughs). So those are the things that
you do... drink a lot of water... it's a muscle, you just have to know how to treat it.
Is there a side of you that people haven't seen yet?
I've been doing this a long time, so I think people know... when they say Sebastian Bach, they know I'm a crazy rock
'n roll dude with long hair... who most of the time is wearing some sort of leather on some part of his body (laughs).
I just hope they dig my music, and I know they do because every time I get on stage and sing 'Eighteen and Life'
they let me know.
