The motion picture companies
have had little success when it comes to bringing beloved movies onto the silver-screen. Many forgetful titles come
to mind: Clueless, Weird Science, The Crow. But sometimes, on rare occasions, television shows based on movies
actually gain a following and are worth watching. For instance: M*A*S*H, Highlander, and yes... even Terminator: The
Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Set after the events in Terminator 2, Sarah Connor and her son John, try to stay under-the-radar from the government as they
plot to destroy the computer network Skynet in hopes of preventing armageddon. The first Terminator movies are some
of the best Sci-fi/Action films that the screen has ever seen, so of course I had my doubts about the show... until actually
watching it. Of course it wont be the same as the movies, they never are... but each episode had just enough story-line
and action to keep me glued to my seat. A gem on the silver-screen! I only wish they could do a tie-in
for the upcoming Terminator movie!
