In "Pride and Glory" we get
a glimpse into the world of New York police officers, showing us the tough decisions they may face each and every day and
how it may directly effect them or their loved-ones.
I wouldn’t say I was pulled into the story from the beginning, it did take some time for me to open up to each character
since we were just thrown into the movie, but eventually I did enjoy each performance this movie holds. The cast was nearly
perfect, Colin Ferrell definitely has come a long way since his performance in "American Outlaws", and it shows here and also
in his much better movie "In Bruges". In fact, the entire cast was remarkable.
"Pride and Glory" is a good movie, but yet again we’re seeing another movie with too many similarities to a better
one, unfortunately I couldn’t get L.A. Confidential out of my head... but at least they were able to come up with a
modern and new take on the storyline and situations.
