Watch Will Smith in one of his best performances to date.  He will grab your attention with his clever wit and persona, and he'd better because this is one movie where it depends completely on it's actor since Will is almost the only actor you will see throughout the entire film, except for a few flashbacks and the "infected"... much like the movie Cast Away, except instead of Wilson (the volleyball) you have Max, Robert's best and only friend... and of course minus a few thousand infected vampire like monsters.

 

     You will feel nearly every sort of emotion before the ending of the film; sadness over the situation, fear of the infected, and anger that the film is so damn short!  It seems to end before you know it's even over, usually I complain that a movie is too long and drawn out, but for once I actually wanted at least fifteen more minutes to show more about each character and situation.

 

     Final thoughts:  I Am Legend is a well written (based on the same book that brough us The Omega Man), extremely well acted, and well directed movie that demands to be watched.  Definitely a must buy!
