Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law

Rating: 3.5 out of 5

Harvey Birdman Volume Three starts off with a big bang, the first episode spoofs the original Birdman series that aired in the sixties. It’s pure genius!

For those of you who may have never seen an episode -- it’s nothing like the original series but does consist of many characters of not only Birdman but the whole Hanna Barbera family. With characters that range from Johnny Quest, Magilla Gorilla, Top Cat, Scooby & Shaggy, Yogi Bear... and the list just keeps going. But don’t think that this show would be appropriate for all ages because it consists of these family friendly characters, there are a lot of inappropriate jokes that will lead many parents running for the remote.

The show is slap stick greatness! You never know what will happen next, and anything can and usually does happen! Clever and ingenious writing / animation that will have you laughing even after the episode is over.

Unfortunately all great things must come to an end, and for Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law it ended before disc two was over. The show lost it’s charisma shortly after the start of disc two, it was still entertaining but lost lots of it’s laughter. But don’t let this stop you from enjoying this two disc set, it’s still one of Cartoon Network’s (Adult Swim) greatest shows.

Good: Hilarious episodes that nearly fills the entire box set. Great characters. You will never look at these characters the same ever again.

Bad: The last few episodes weren’t like the others, less laughs and slightly disappointing storylines.
