Interviewed by Tim Nydell

Over the last several years television has been supplying us with a surplus of brainless reality TV and the same cop drama over and over again; if your show isn’t a reality based series with amateur talent or a crime investigation drama then you don’t stand a chance on television today.  A breath of fresh air was finally given to the viewing public in the form of a murder mystery whodunit called Harper’s Island.

Harper’s Island sets place thirty-seven miles off the Seattle, Washington shorelines; a small isolated island that seems to be the perfect setting for a “Friday The 13th” bloodbath of a show.   We follow Abby Mills [played by Elaine Cassidy] seven years after a mad man, John Wakefield, brutally killed her mother and five others on this small island.  She and a handful of other incredibly thought through characters return to the island for her best friend’s wedding… not knowing what the future holds for her and the rest of them.

Harper’s Island was a bold new experience on network television.  Every episode may not have been written perfectly, but the cast and crew involved made it a wonderful ride for us viewers.  Each and every cast member and character featured on the show was believable and extremely talented.  Tim Nydell of Rock Bottom recently got the opportunity to speak with the cast of Harper’s Island about their performances and who they thought was the killer!
