Mel Gibson is finally back with “Edge of Darkness”, an action/murder-mystery that
didn’t disappoint in any way. Mel Gibson, regardless of what you think about his personal life, is an incredible
actor that has many skills unseen in any other actor out there; he will always be one of my favorite. This isn’t
one of his best performances if you go through the list of his extraordinary movies and/or roles, but definitely an excellent
comeback movie that didn’t get enough attention in the box-office.
The movie doesn’t waste any time when it comes down to the characters and plot; the story starts unfolding nearly within
minutes, and although it soon slows down to allow character growth and development… this movie never had a dull moment
because each scene was key to the story.
It was good to see Mel back in action; and hopefully
people can look past his inappropriate behavior from the past and see him for the great actor that he is. I just hope
that “Edge of Darkness” is only the beginning to an incredible comeback.
