I was anxious to see what they'd do to change this genre, especially since I
was a fan of the first which featured Ashton Kutcher. Early into the movie I realized that this is a clone of the
first, just featuring different consequences.
I didn't like the way Eric Lively's character, Nick, used his gifts primarily
for himself. In the first movie Ashton's character wasn't as greedy as Eric's.
In most cases he was more worried about getting a job promotion and helping himself rather than worrying
about anyone else. There should have been worse consequences for each decision
he made, such as the first film. The acting was great, some of the best each actor has done - but
that wasn't enough to save this movie. The good: Good
acting. The
bad: The movie. Too much like the first - just not as good.
