Have you done any touring lately?
Big Dismal: We've been doing some festivals - we've only done a few so far but they've all been
really great.
Which would you rather be known for - your lyrics or your sound?
Big Dismal: I think the biggest thing is the message that people get. So definitely lyrics.
Is there anything you're looking forward to in your career - especially since you have the new label.
Big Dismal: Just all of us as a band... we're just all thankful to be where we are at. We're
just getting started. We've been waiting almost three years now being on the label - at one point we started working
with one producer but it didn't work out. So we sat around and waited. The waiting is the worst thing.
How long have you been together as a band?
Big Dismal: Me and Eric have been together for - about two and a half years... the full band...
probably about a year.
Is there a band that you have been compared to since you've been out there?
Big Dismal: We get compared to Creed a lot. That's probably the one we hear the most.
Which we don't mind.
Well, you're from Tallahassee....
Big Dismal: Exactly.
Do you know them at all?
Big Dismal: Yeah, well we don't know them as friends - just more or less business kind of stuff.
Me, Scott and Tremonti have all played on the same softball team. So we all know each other. You know... we all
grew up the same time... so we all have the same similar influences. We probably have a few more southern influences.
They're a little bit more rock. We don't mind. I think that once people hear the whole record... I think the band
will take together a little more of an identity.
Is there a band out there that you'd like to tour with?
Big Dismal: We all love Nickelback. 3 Doors Down.
Have you guys set a goal for your band yet?
Big Dismal: To bring some good music out there.
